Daniel Saba - Clinical Counsellor
Daniel has a Master of Counselling degree from City University of Seattle and is an RCC (Registered Clinical Counsellor) and member in good standing with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors.
Daniel personally understands and honours the unique cultural contexts that shape each of us as individuals, knowing how this can impact us during challenging times. As a person-centred counsellor, he prioritizes the inner wisdom of the person seeking support (even during hardship). Offering a supportive, trauma-informed counselling environment, he respects the pacing that each individual wants to move at.
In a session, he listens openly and curiously to past experiences. He helps individuals develop awareness of arising emotions and sensations while aiming to (re)experience feelings of safety and joy. He strives to be non-judgmental and friendly.
Born in Canada, Daniel is grateful to live and work on the traditional lands of the beautiful, coastal, Lekwungen territory of the Songhees and Esquimalt peoples (also known as Victoria). He is available for in-person or video/phone sessions.
