When should I arrive for my appointment?
Please try to arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment time so that you can get the most out of your session.
How do phone appointments work?
Your therapist will call you at the time of your appointment. Please try to be in a place that is private where you are comfortable to talk.
My appointment is online, how do I get the link to join?
You will receive an email from the Men’s Therapy Centre 30 minutes before your appointment begins that will contain the link to your session. Feel free to click your link early to give yourself time to make sure your video and audio are working properly. Your therapist will begin the session.
I need to cancel my appointment. What is the best way to do this?
You can call or text us at 250-381-6367 to either cancel or reschedule an appointment. You can also email us at email@example.com . We will pass along the information to your therapist. Please remember to cancel your appointment at least 24 hours before the appointment time to avoid a possible late cancellation fee.
Your Jane Account
What is Jane?
Jane is the software we use to handle the scheduling of appointments and billing. Every client has a Jane account that can be reached here Men’s Therapy Centre (janeapp.com) . Your username is your email address you first gave the Men’s Therapy Centre and you create your password. Please email our administrator at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are having an issue logging in.
What can I do with my Jane account?
You can do the following things in your Jane account:
- see your future appointments.
- see any confidential documents your therapist may have shared with you.
- pay an invoice using a credit card.
- add a credit card to your client file to ease future payments.
- Add or change your appointment notifications.
Payments and Receipts
What payment methods do you accept?
You can pay in person using debit, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, cash or cheque (payable to the Men’s Therapy Centre).
How can I pay if my appointment is online or by phone?
You can pay by e-transfer to email@example.com (no security question is required). You can also pay online with a credit card by logging into your Jane account.
What if I have questions about an invoice or a payment?
Please contact our administrator at firstname.lastname@example.org or call us at 250-381-6367 if you have any questions.
I need official receipts for my insurance company. How do I get them?
Regardless of how you pay, you will always receive your detailed receipt via email. You are sent a link where you can see your receipt as well as download it. Please be aware that you can only access your receipt with this link, receipts are not stored in your Jane account. If you ever need assistance obtaining a receipt, contact our administrator at email@example.com, or call us at 250-381-6367.
How can I change how and when I receive appointment reminders?
You can choose the type and frequency of your appointment notifications in your Jane account. You have the following choices:
- Receive an email two days before your appointment.
- Receive an email 30 minutes before your appointment.
- Receive a text 2 days before your appointment.
- Receive a text 2 hours before your appointment.
- Email for any new, cancelled, or rescheduled appointments.
You can have all, some or no notifications sent for your appointments.
